Back to my roots?

This month began with lots of activity making fudge and packing it up for my stall at the local food market. No surprise that Valentine's Day was the theme.

I then was tasked with making Scottish tablet for a Burns Night and Ceilidh. I am Scottish and remember my mum making tablet which was always such a treat. She, however, is no longer with us so I could not get her recipe. I managed to get my aunt Elspeth's secret recipe and had a go and I have to say it was well received. I was so busy I forgot to take a photo before it got plated up with some delicious shortbread. Watch this space, I plan to add it to my product listing in due course. Tablet is lighter coloured and more crumbly than traditional fudge.

I am now in the process of developing something new for Mother's Day which I will be promoting soon. Stay tuned.
